In one way releasing new music is as normal as anything else I’d be doing, but to launch an entirely new project as a solo artist feels somewhat foreign. I’m just happy to be making music I’m proud of with people I admire and love.

I’m giving myself permission to go places I feel like I wasn’t allowed to explore before. Those rules don’t exist, to abide in that lack of exploration seemed antithetical to the nature of what
